I was on the hunt for some Stornoway black pudding, not for me sadly, and would not come normally to the savoy centre as l usually go to a butchers in the west end.
In the past I had never seen it in their display but came on the of chance, I asked the server if there was any, and I was in luck there was a stock pile in the fridge.
Not sure why a butchers shop would stock an item then not place it on display, very odd indeed.
There is a good selection here, from steak pie’s to eggs, definitely a place to visit.

Ok its time to trust this veteran Unilocaler. Do you like quality meat at good prices sourced from local farms and butchered by experts? Yes? Then get your carnivorous little bottoms along to the savoy centre and get ready to find one of the best non fancy butchers in Glasgow… i shit thee not.
Aye, its a bit freaky inside the savoy centre with its swarms of grannys, pishy stores and dodgy blokes… if you’ve ever used the toilets in here you’ll know what i’m talking about…, however this place is real quality.
Selling the usual array of meats, cooked and raw, and with excellent deals on regularly, this is one fantastic place hidden away on Sauchiehall street.
Get your bum here. Buy some Italian links (they’re huge and tasty, and get ready to enjoy great meat at kick ass prices…
