I’ve been using this butcher for years and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. Their own scotch pies are a million miles from those rubbery ones you buy in the supermarkets and the onion scotch pies are even better! Their own sausages are delicious their lamb burgers are to die for. Plus the banter is always top quality and the wee one gets a wee sweetie if she’s with me. This is what retail is all about. Quality, service and a cheery hello when you are recognised coming in the door.
Forgot to add… ask for some pig bones the next time you are making soup ;)

Great butchers, amazing steak-​pies, the queue was out the door on hogmanay and I even seen the postman waiting for his steak pie!
The bacon is lovely and they are happy to help with cuts of steak, portion sizes and for numpties like me who have bought meat in a packet for years with instructions on the back,…best way to cook!
Not the cheapest but the quality is supberb, these guys stock some hotels/​restaurants.
They throw in nice touches like free fresh gravy with the beef olives etc, and are always happy to give you a wee bone away for the dog.
Try grilling the bacon with a morning roll with their tattie scones mmmm best way to chase a hangover away.
