Wandering out to lunch I notice a tent set up next to the library with people working on bikes. Interest gained.
Turns out that it is Go Green Week and Glasgow University Environmental Club and Glasgow University Climate Action were doing stuff including inviting De’ils on Wheels along to fix bikes. They are a Charity that does stuff like recycling bike parts; cycling events and activities; training courses for cycling on road and cycle mechanics.
Awesome!
So they fixed the crunchy, groany, growling noise my bike has been making lately and they alerted me to some very worn brake blocks. I am planning to head over there, get them fixed and tell you more.
