Vast complex, part of a very high quality renovation of the old shopping areas at the corner of Bath Street and Palmer Street, bar 11 is a spacious and airy set-​up with plenty of room for large parties.
Covering several levels, it advertises everything from Kareoke, Pole Dancing, Quiz nights and large screen TV events.
I went in when it first opened a few years back, and for lunchtime snacks it was very popular — great grub and reasonable prices, and you could take the kids in to certian areas.
Now, though, it no longer opens at lunchtimes so am unable to comment on the quality of edibles.
Late-​night DJ’s are a regular feature and it’s a popular place for the younger out-​on-​the-​towners to congregate.
Nicely laid out and well stocked bar, but the atmosphere not so welcoming now they’re less of a family eaterie and more a clubbers haunt.
