I have never had a bad night here after 6 years of occasional visits. Great staff, amazing food and a great selection of beers. If you’re a beer lover this is your place. Or a hot chili lover, they will make you suffer for sure! ITSHOT. Sometimes when they have a band its over loud but that is because I was on a date, if i was with the lads sure i wouldnt have cared. Generally a gem of folkestone among the rough.

The chambers is a great place to meet up with friends. They serve real ale and in the evenings you can order hot food which is very reasonably priced. The chambers can get really busy at times and some people do tend to find it a bit claustrophobic as it is below street level. There is a coffee shop above the bar that serves a selection of hot and cold drinks and meals throughout the day. The staff are friendly and welcoming to locals and new visitors alike

What a busy little pub downstairs and a lovely busy coffee ship upstairs. With its good food, frequent beer festivals and entertainment in the evenings this pub is a major attraction in Folkestone. With a wide range of customers it appears to be popular with everyone!

I like chambers as a meeting point but I must say I find it a bit lacking in atmosphere and indeed it feels a bit claustraphobic. The staff are very friendly though.

Worth mentioning as a real ale fan that Chambers has been in the CAMRA guide for the past 6 years and the beer is well kept. they also have a film club which meets on an adhoc basis and shows cult films — check out their website for updates

I can’t believe that The Chambers is ten years old!!! That makes me feel like I am getting old! The Chambers is a fantastic pub and coffee shop owned by Chris Smith. He started the business as a pub ten years ago and the opened the coffee shop a few years later in the shop above the pub. The coffee shop offers a wide range of hot and cold drinks as well as sandwiches, paninis, jacket potatoes and soup during the day time, ecept for sunday. They also have a lovely rangke of cakes! It is always busy as it is a very popular place for a yummy lunch. They have lots of comfy seating areas and have a few tables outside for the smokers. Downstairs in the pub they offer a selection of specialist beers and have regular beer festivals. They also sell hot food in the evenings which is all vety nice. I love the chilli corn on the cobs and the meat balls. The bar staff are all really friendly and will always offer advice on drinks. The puddings are extremly nice too. There is no pool table any more which is a shame as it was always fun to have a few games. I think they took it away as it took up too much room when they are really busy on the weekends.
