First time in Farnham and I eat out everyday. This place by far is the best Indian food in Farnham. Served family style. They were able to make my tandoori very spicy. I asked to make my roti with garlic and they accommodated. Restaurants in Farnham have a difficult time with customizing orders. It’s so weird. This place was able to and that made me super happy. I tried their meat and veggie samosas and they were good. They deliver on orders over 25£. They bring the bill with warm hand clothes and chocolate. It was a cool place for dinner. Watch your step when getting to the bathroom.

Not sure why this place has only 2 stars., the hotel recommended that we go here. The food was excellent, pleasant staff. I had the green curry chicken and saag paneer. My colleagues had the chicken tikka masala. Good was very good. A little slow coming, but it was a Monday night. Maybe that’s why. I would definitely come again.

Yet another Indian restaurant catering to people whose taste buds have rarely sampled anything more exciting than butter and salt.
Don’t get me wrong, this place does a business… so if you’re the typical British consumer, you might be quite satisfied. But when you come from good authentic Indian food that makes bachelor emigrant graduates of IIT not miss their mother’s cooking, you expect better.
The restaurant is clean and well presented, so I can’t give them 1 star, but I can’t give them more than 2 based on my experience.

Glad it’s not just me, I’ve just met another group of chaps who experienced a strange day after feeling after visiting the Darjeeling. It could the combination of beer + curry, the unusual exposure to spicy food or perhaps even some dodgy cooking. Whatever the reason, I won’t be going there again and I know plenty of others who are like minded. Luckily the choice of curry houses in Farnham is wide so there are alternatives.
