Borellis is a trendy wine bar, popular at weekends, so much so that they have bouncers on the door, and it can get uncomfortably crowded inside. There is an upstairs area for eating, and the food is delicious but its worth noting that the only toilets are upstairs so people are constantly trooping past when you’re eating. Borellis stock a vast selection of wine and continental lagers but there is nothing for a real ale enthusiast! Borellis is busy but not atmospheric. Its more a pub crawl pub than somewhere you would visit on its own. Its completely different in the week — far quieter and calmer. The staff are quite friendly and service is reasonably quick.
