The new owners have done an excellent renovation and kept the character of the building. Limited menu and beers but excellent food and drink. Bit of a hill climb to get here, at top of the High Street, but well worth it. Congratulations to all involved in retaining and making this old stalwart a new and satisfying experience.

The Star and Garter at the top of the high street in Falmouth is a real old boys pub, it’s the home of the infamous Falmouth Marine Band and is a great place to go for a real ale.
They have live acoustic acts every week and the whole back of the pub is walled by great big glass windows that allow a fantastic view out over the bay and all the moored boats.
They also serve food which tastes good and is well priced, if your looking for a real locals pub and like talking to some real characters then the Star and Garter is the place to go, some great tales can be heard from the older sailors and fishermen that drink there.
