A solid 3 for this ‘spoons. Looks like a fairly typical example of their pubs, serving decent food and beer at more than reasonable prices. Not overly impressed by the toilets here though. With my Moroccan meatballs I enjoyed a pint of a Skinners seasonal beer. In fact most of the beers were local, which is a real plus in this part of the world. Named after the place overseas mail was handled between the 17th and mid 19th centuries. Falmouth had the leading packet station.

it wetherspoons alright. the mould is kept the same of spoons up and down the uk but this is a better one as there is plenty space to move around and mingle. like all spoons chains this a decent place to start an evening.

Classic wetherspoons layout and menu, very cheap drinks and food offers available all the time. There are two bars available, one on each floor, and if your sneaky, use a voucher on one bar then go to the other with another! At the back downstairs there are some booths that are really comfortable and a nice place to eat. Downsides are because of the price it has attracted a number of the towns characters who seem to be permanent placements of the place, also the service is absolutely awful, the last few times we were stood at the bar for almost ten minutes waiting to get served, it was not even busy and we have since stopped going because of this, many of our friends have had the same experience. Worth a quick drink but better to spend a bit more and get a better experience.
