Love this place so much. I meet my friends and have a natter while my little girl is playing in a safe secure area. The food is amazing and so is the staff

I would just like to say that as the owner of Dinkys I can assure everyone that the issues raised by(Kellyw) 6 years ago were addressed and rectified when I took over the business. I am offering her an open invitation to come down, have a coffee with me and see for herself. I am there every day and I always appreciate customer feedback! I think we do a good job at Dinkys and we do have many happy customers. However, there is so much more I would love to do to make it an even more special place for the little ones. Current financial constraints somewhat limit my actions at this time but rest assured I will always endeavor to improve on the Dinkys experience for both children and parents alike. Thanks Dinkys For those customers that are interested and want to support their high street please cut and paste the link below to read a very informative article.

Where do i start?! This café could be a lot lot better. The children’s play area is far too small and the tables are so lightweight that a child can tip over a hot drink by pulling lightly on the table. The entrance/exit to the café is ‘secured’ by a hook, but this is at a height that older children can reach and undo themselves. I recently turned round from my coffee to see that my 2 year old was walking out of the door and into the main road(as they tend to leave the main door wedged open). If you do go here i would advise that you a keep a very close eye on your kids. The floors are always so dirty as well. Everytime my daughter visits her tights/socks are always so black they usually have to be thrown out or resigned to the nursery pile as i can never get all the dirt out in the wash! Overall the concept of Dinkys is great, i just think they could do with making a few improvements. It’s unfortunate that there isn’t really anywhere else in Exeter to go with small children.
