Vermeulen & Son

Vermeulen’s is a traditional Deli and Bakery — selling a range of meats, cheese, bread, cakes and pastries.
I’ve been goin to Vermeulens for many years and it always reminds me of my childhood when I would go shopping with my Nan and stop by at Vermeulen’s to buy a Strawberry Tart. In fact even now, many years later, I still stop by for the same cake, even though I now get tempted by the huge sticky buns or Vanilla Slices.
In comparison to some of the more modern Deli’s in larger towns you may be dissapointed by Vermeulens offering — It may not have the biggest range of International meats and cheeses but the main attraction is that its kept is old fashioned feel and style and not tried to conform or compete with the modern deli’s and in my opinion for this reason its a big Success.
