I came here with a few mates after playing a game of football at the nearby Corn Exchange and had a really good time. I was expecting to see a traditional décor when I walked in, seeing as the exterior looked old, but was surprised to see that it looked really cool and trendy with comfy leather seats.
There was a good crowd in there and a nice atmosphere. The pub would be ideal to come and watch a game of football or cricket as it has some enormous plasma TVs. I had a couple of pints of Guinness there and it tasted great, they also did the usual range of beers and spirits in there too.
It seems they also put a lot of effort into attracting locals out on as there were posters dotted around advertising forthcoming entertainment nights. Will definitely be coming back soon.
