G-TEK Grassmarket Technologies

I visited this shop recently due to a malfunction on my iPhone: the power button stopped responding. :-(
I could find some online videos, for me it seemed complicated but also straightforward enough for taking it to a local shop rather than visiting Glasgow and their Apple store (yes, the phone’s guarantee had passed and the excess for insurances is at least £30 or £100 for most of them!)
After doing some online search, Grassmarket Technologies seemed like a good candidate. Gave them a call, immediate reply from Simon and scheduled same day repair! Dropped it at 12h00 and picked it up at 17h15, just before the shop closes.
The phone works fine since then, and it only costed me roughly £30!
For fellow iOS devices users, keep in mind that after the fix, any network configuration was cleared, and therefore any WiFi networks had to be re-​entered.
Would I go back? Definitely!
