Asda Hypermarket

This store is huge and always busy. Stocks everything from food and drink to electricals, toys, dvds, cds, homeware and clothing for adults and children. The store has its own restaurant and also has a photoshop and eye test area instore. This is one of the cheapest supermarkets so is very good value for money. The downside of this store is the queing at the checkouts, which on peak days such as Friday you can be waiting with two or three people in front of you with trolley loads. There is a self scan checkout if you only have a basket of items but even these checkouts get extremely busy. On site is also a petrol station which is one of the cheapest around and a car wash facility.

This is one very big store!!! Hence the name hypermarket! You can get pretty much anything here from dvd’s to wine from Towels to clothes as well as your usual food items and there is a café tooThe variety and price is quite good so you have to be a good decision maker you can find you spend more time choosing than shopping. I find it brilliant if you want to do a big shop of pressies and food at a lower cost. They have a good photography department and have plenty of electrical goods which are cheaper than the high street stores. There is free parking which is helpful, although can be tough to find a space at busy times. The petrol is the cheapest around as well, sometimes by a few pennies per litre too so it’s well worth filling your tank
