Must say having read the reviews on Fort Fun I was a bit hesititant at taking my two kids there as a single parent on a limited budget but must say I was pleasantly surprised. Ok it is certainly not legoland but then you would pay an arm and a leg for that! Thought the staff were polite and friendly and had a full explanation from the lady on the reception desk as to what there was on offer and I had a choice of options from paying as I go to buying a wristband for the kids which would last all day and entrance is free basically you pay for what you use. Also she did advise me that my little one would need to be accompanied on some of the rides but that I would not have to pay extra(i have been to other places where they have charged extra just so you can accompany your kids. My two loved it, did not think the tea and coffee was bad and not as overpriced as some places. The café offered basic food but again was not expecting a fine dining experience! Overall I thought is was good value for money as we were there for about five hours and we nipped out along the seafront for half an hour and came back. The staff were good and must say I was quite impressed and my kids loved it and will definately go back in the summer and try out the water park!

went to fort fun yesterday after trying to BOOKONLINE! PHONETHEMTILL10−30AM no answer! Turned up and paid £44 for wristbands for 4 kids, walked in, everything shut/dirty/held together with gaffer tape, 1 member staff to 3 rides, rude dirty staff with long skanky finger nails who serve food and pretend to have manners untill you ask for a refund. I even emailed them and sent a link to my comments upon there park with no reply. If you want to catch something go to fort fun! Or pay alot less and have more fun and safe food and good people at the pier! Trading tsandards will be involved no problems i got no refund my kids went on NOTHING!

Fort fun is a small theme park type place on the seafront which has a decent size car park which is good. There is an outside area and an inside area so in any weather time of year this is available for a day out which is a plus. The outside area is made up of various small rides for the kids which at first look is ok but about an hour later you’ll be done so take your time. Inside is better in my opinion as its soft play area and seems to keep the kids amused for hours, the staff here are young and pretty unhelpfull at best. There is also a café but the foods not very good.

Fort fun has been there for as long as i can remember and seems great for children, but staff can be rude and surly, coffee and tea at inflated prices, toilets are hit and miss for cleanliness, as is the general area, which always looks as if it could do with a good scrub! Outside area is quite pricey, with many small fairground rides. Can have birthday parties here too. Its an ok place, but not a patch on other soft play areas.

Fort Fun is on the seafront by the Soveriegn Lesiure centre. It has a big municipal car park outside which charges a fortune, butter to park further away on the road in my opinion. There is an inside park with ball pits and inflatables, best for under 8 years, and an outside part with a water ride, dodgems, crazy golf etc. Expensive, but the kids love it and they are open every day of the year except Christmas Day

This place consists of Rockys indoor soft play area and the Fort Fun ‘theme park’ outside. Theme park is a bit of an over statement really, its more a few small kids fair ground rides — mybe 10 in all. It’s pretty pricey for what it is — £12 for a wristband to ride all day(includes the indoor play area) or £1 a token(some rides cost more than one token). Though my kids enjoyed it for a few hours, i didn’t really! I wouldn’t go on a regular basis as i think the kids would soon get bored of going there and it costs too much. There is a basic café inside, next to the indoor soft play area but the food is at best bland & a limited choice, at worst its cold and rather unpleasant. Not my favourite treat for the kids but they quite liked it.

Fort fun has an indoor soft play area which my children tell me is very good although it looks the same as any other to me. The outdoor area has lots of fairground-style rides which are also great fun.
