I feel awfully sorry for this little store. It is a family run business that has been operating in Downpatrick for a number of years, but now the industrial might of Sports Direct has arrived around the corner its position is now far from secure.
The main way that this place has now tried to differentiate itself is by making itself a place where you can buy GAA items like shirts, shorts and footballs, and also by selling a range of sporting clothes.
You can also get a wider range of football shirts in here than in sports direct remarkably! There is a small bbut quality range of trainers, boots and other sporting goods that you would expect from a store like this. The service is good and helpful, and they will endeavour to get what you need or order it in for you, and it will be hopefully this kind or great customer service that will help it survive long term.
