never ever eat at this place again, they say its under new management and a new name but sources tell me, that its part of the same old set up! As they say the apple doesnt fall far from the tree! food was cheaply made and poor quality, but we pay 5 star prices, their are so many better things i could think of then spend/waste my money with them. The service was dreadful they asked us to leave even though some of us wasnt finished as they have people waiting! sham sham sham !!! Not even worthy of the 1 star which i cant delete!

A great way to try something you may otherwise not want to try. Staff are very friendly welcoming.

I came here once during a work break for their buffet lunch… the only meat they had was cheap and cheerful chicken and even then they didn’t have many options. the dessert option was mainly fruit… for £10 it really wasn’t worth the money but that was just the lunch buffet, I hear the evening options are much better.

This is supposed to be a buffet style mixed chinese, indian and mediterranean restaurant but we found that it should really only be classed as a cheap indian buffet. We decided to visit in the evening. On arrival we got our drinks, whcih didn’t start off too well as there was a man(possibly the manager) moaning and constantly harrassing the girl who was trying to serve us — as we were a party of 16 this seemed to take forever. We got seated and noticed the signs telling you that if there was wastage you would be charged extra — at £12.95 per head, this seemed a bit cheeky. When we went up for our food, we then discovered that it was mostly indian curries, there was one chinese/thai dish of beef in hunan sauce which nobody liked — it was disgusting! I was very careful to only put a one mouthful size of different dishes to sample them and can honestly say that I’m so glad I did — I only liked one dish, and the rice was crunchy for some reason. Out of our party of 16 which included a 1 year old in a highchair(who they charged the child price for, by the way) only two people liked what they had. In the ladies toilets, of which there were two — only one of them had a seat — nice touch MYO!!! Overall, the idea is excellent but the standard of food is very poor. I would definately NOT recommend this restaurant to anyone. In fact I wouldn’t go there if it was free!

The building and the restaurant is more impressive than the food. It serves Pan-Asian food: Chinese, Thai, Indian, Mediterranean. The food is served in a rounded stainless steel. Good points, are the freshly made naan, and some curries. I wasn’t really too fond about anything else. This is possibly a better place to experience Pan-Asian food in this area. Great staff! They’re very accommodating with your needs.

MYO is located in the centre of Coventry, in the old fire station and is a brilliant restaurant! It’s a buffet restaurant offering a mixture of Chinese, Indian, Thai and Mediterranean food. It’s a great idea as there is such a wide range of food on offer, it suits just about everyone. The food is freshly prepared, they even have chefs cooking custom-made naan breads! The food is really well presented, especially the Indian section. There’s a good selection of desserts on offer as well, including a delicious chocolate fountain which is very hard to resist! Prices are very reasonable especially if you visit at lunchtime. Highly recommended.
