On holiday I’m frequently on the look out for nice cafes/​tea shops for lunch or tea. I usually eat the same thing — toastie and/​or soup. Often I’m disappointed. Toasties can be dull and soup disappointing. So I was very pleasantly surprised by this place in a quiet street i Chesterfield. The toastie was the best I’d ever eater (and the best value) and the tomato soup delicious. Friendly owner. Cakes looked delicious too. Chesterfield seems to have very few independent such establishments so this café is certainly worth a visit.
