Nice setting especially in the Summer with a large outdoor area consisting duck pound and grass A good selection of beers and wine and entertainment at the weekend. Food menu is quite extensive and very reasonably priced although maybe not the highest of quality but for the price paid you can’t really complain

I had heard a few things about this place(i.e. the greasy tables) but when I was there for lunch with a friend from work, everywhere looked clean and tidy. The food was lovely too.

Cheap and cheerful(without the cheerful staff… they seemed under too much pressure) maybe because we visited during school holidays, We had the two meals for £8 and I had a 5oz steak which was reasonable and good value at the price, specially if(like us) you have spent up at cheshire oaks shopping village across the way

A brilliant addition to the Hungry Horse chain of restaurants. Literally a short walk from the Cheshire Oaks shopping centre it offers good food for bargain prices. It has an extensive outdoor area(when it’s sunny) to enjoy with unusually comfortable outdoor seating to enjoy meals. A ‘jungle gym’ is here for the kids along with space for them to burn off excess energy playing a quick game of tag etc. Also for the toddlers is a small bark chipped area to play with the usual plastic palace etc kids toys. The food here is always nice but they do give you too many chips. I would avoid buying a ‘sizzler’ plate as these can be hazardous.
