A pub of two halves! The bar on one side mainly caters for a younger audience while the lounge is moe quiet and attracts older clientele A good selection of drinks and very friendly staff

This pub has now changed hands with an entirely different menu. Food and beer prices have gone up and the food portions are smaller but the quality is very good and well worth a visit. They no longer serve food on Monday which is a pity as the evening was always available without the need to book in advance. A good welcoming pub where you can relax as there is never any trouble and a good range of sports available on the additional tv’s in the bar.

The Seahorse has recently been taken over and it has changed significantly for the best. It is now more family orientated and serves great beer at reasonable prices. The atmosphere is great due to friendly bar staff and locals alike

This pub seems reasonably popular with the immediate locals, but mostly because they know each other I think. It reminds of a pub of about 20 years! It could be the décor! Staff are friendly enough but the range of drinks isn’t great. Prices aren’t bad. When you walk in you are presented with a choice of lounge to the left or bar to the right. I don’t think there is much room in either but the lounge is quieter. I have only eaten here once and that was the sunday roast(after a recommendation!). It was very cheap, about £4.50 I think! We couldn’t even finish it. Firstly there was so much food on the plate, every time you touched it, stuff fell off! Secondly, once we found deep fried hair stuck to the roast potato we were out of there!
