If I’m desperate for a kebab, and those days don’t come round very often nowadays then it is likely to be from the Levant. It would be nice to think all the staff have come from The Levant but I think that is unlikely. Firstly the kebabs are very good from here. With the rash of kebab shops in City Road it would be easy to forget this shop close to home but it can hold it’s own so to speak. I always tend to have the chicken shish kebab which is lovely. I very rarely have doner kebabs but my brother tells me they are great. According to urban legend my brother and sister in law who go in there very regularly were given wedding gift monster kebabs by the owner as a mark of gratitude. I don’t know f this is true but I rather suspect it is.

Levant Kebab Shop are one of those neatly run businesses that really know what they are doing. Everything is just very tidy, if you know what I mean? I guess this is because they have been in business for about fifteen years, and have fine-tuned their operation until it runs like clockwork. What they actually do is not very inventive, but it nevertheless is precisely what people want. What people want includes kebabs, burgers, deep fried chicken, pizza’s, with Tikka and Tandoori options, a whole heap of sides with things like chips with cheese and samosas, and also extends to a few vegetarian options… five in fact… but one of these is ‘salad in a box! Hmmm… The veggie burgers and Flafel kebab are well worth considering however! The also offer free delivery within a five mile radius on orders over £15.00, and of course there are plenty of meal deals to choose from to make your money go that little bit further.
