Nandos

The server always greets quickly and professionally. A variety of great dishes but you have to wait so about 30 minutes to get a table.

When I arrived in UK my flatemates took me to Nando’s well, the food is good, but it’s (i think) a bit overpriced But I spent a good time with my friends and the food was good, what else?

Nando’s is pretty good chicken. Nothing amazing, but nonetheless, it’s fine.

iv been to nandos more times than iv eaten my own cooking! i love the food, usually its upto the high standards expected. occasionally it has been cold, or taken long to be brought. but having been 100s of times its always a confident choice. my favorite place for chicken.

Normally I like Nandos, but my past two experiences of this restaurant in particular have left me a little dissapointed.
The first and most shocking experience came on a birthday trip where we planned to go to Nandos as its somewhere everyone likes. We arrived only to be told at the door that they had run out of chicken! and we couldnt have salad either as they were also out of that… oh and also pitta bread… how can a chicken restuarant run out of chicken?!
the second time was a leaving do for a friend, again we tried Nandos as we do like it!, only this time we were told, despite there being an empty restuarant, that they didnt have enough staff to deal with a group of 10 people.
admittedly we were a larger group, but had it not been a short notice thing, this wouldnt have been a problem. However we did say we were prepared to wait, and didnt mind if we were split up, but the staff said no, they couldnt deal with a large group.
This was only 7pm! what would they do it 10 people who didnt know each other were hungry and walked in off the street?
dissappointed we ended up getting a take away and eating it in work, not the est night out ever.

Wer Hühnchen mag wir Nandos lieben. Verschiedenste Soßen gibt es zu einem Halben oder ganzen Hähnchen mit würzigen Pommes («Chips») und einigen Dips. Nette Bedienung und Preise sind völlig in Ordnung. Wie so oft in England, kommen auch hier Vegetarier wieder einmal nicht zu kurz, denn es gibt leckere Veggieburger!

A great restaurant if you like chicken! The service is fast and friendly — although you do serve yourself drinks and collect your own plates/​sauces/​cutlery/​etc. You can choose the heat of your meal from lemon and herb all the way up to extra hot. They do serve a range of salads and some steak as well as chicken and there are excellent vegetarian options from portobello mushrooms to bean burgers.

A great addition to the array of restaurants in Canterbury! This is the perfect place to stop if you fancy a quick bite whilst doing some shopping. It’s pretty much self service, you order food at the counter but then help yourself to cutlery, drinks etc. The menu is a bit limited but it’s nice to have the choice of flavour with the chicken. If you don’t feel like people watching (or being watched by people!) there is a small section of seating at the back and at busy times the upstairs seating is opened.

I love Nandos, it one of the only places that doesnt mess about when it comes to serving up some really spicy food. A lot of places say things are spicy when they really arent that hot.
Nandos has a few levels of heat on their foods, the extra hot is for serious chilli heads only you can even spice these up a bit more with some of the extra hot peri peri sauce.
The service in Nandos is sometimes thought of as a bit lacking but I think this is because you are responsible for ordering your own food and drink at the counter then getting your own drinks from the coke machine, there are waiters/​waitresses but they arent really there to take orders.
The Canterbury branch is quite nice as long as you dont mind the hundreds of shoppers walking past having a look at you eating, you can sit at the back to get out of their view though.
