BEST. SANDWICHES. EVER.
Seriously, CJ baguettes are INCREDIBLE. Crispy crunchy foot-​longs with whatever you want inside. A bit like Subway but fresher, healthier, cheaper and goddamn tastier. NOM.
The inside of it is just so cool too. It’s one of those real eclectic places, with different sized sofas, original art on the walls, everything a different colour or pattern and they’ve got an outside area where you’ve got a view of the Canterbury Tales museum, the flower stall opposite and if you angle yourself right, even the Cathedral doors if you squint down the opposite alley.

one of the better cafes in canterbury. tastey, wide range, and may be a little pricey in the end, but its worth it. my only issue is sometimes its hard to find seats! but theres plenty of places around the café.

Very tasty, busy but not unbearably so, fairly reasonably priced, although some things were slightly on the expensive side. That said, I am a student! Lunch could easily be had for under a fiver, and that would include a sandwich/​baguette/​roll/​jacket potato etc, a drink and a packet of crisps.
Easy to miss, it’s disguised as a fancy building and is nestled next to a very busy chip shop. Keep looking, it is good!

Very good café. The food was very nice and the selection wide. The place has lots of seating indoors and out (encluding sofas inside) the prices are resanable, It cost me £10 for two pannies and two drinks. Would go back agein.

I have been to CJ’s many times and always been pleased, simple fresh baguettes, vast fillings and made as you want them, also very reasonable prices.
