I am a huge fan of this restaurant! Having been more than a handful of times the staff always greet me with a smile and remember my usual order. It’s the little things that count! Always delivers a great atmosphere as it’s quite popular amongst locals even midweek. It’s somewhere you could go for a laid back meal or that of a celebration as it caters for everyone. As you are seated the waiters bring you complimentary bread and salads whilst you peruse your options on the menu. The menu is quite extensive but the general gist is chicken or lamb with rice and salad. I tend to go for the spicy minced lamb and cubes of lamb or the stuffed peppers which are cooked perfectly and full of flavour. A main dish will set you back around £11-£12 but they do an offer on Sunday-Tuesday whereby you can get 2 courses for £12.99 which is well worth the money! Overall I cannot fault it which is why I am a regular customer and will continue to be so! Highly recommend to anyone in the area.

Delicious Turkish food and friendly service abound at this wonderful restaurant. I went with some friends who were regulars here(for good reason). The waiters were all friendly. The menu is huge and they were helpful in narrowing down the best options to get. We also had an infant and a 3-year-old with us and they were very accommodating of the kids. The food here was top notch, with all of their meaty kebobs displayed in a glass case in the front of the restaurant. I had a lamb kebab with yogurt(#37) and the flavors were amazing! The dish was a little cold when it came to the table, but otherwise perfect. I can’t wait to try everything else on their menu in the future!

Very friendly service and fresh prepared tasteful & light Turkish cuisine. The meat is prepared on an open grill in the restaurant. It is worth a visit and you will return.

I lurk in the areas to the west of what I call the Huntingdon-Cambridge corridor, so it isn’t often that I make it over to St Neots. In fact, this was the first time. Hopefully, it won’t be the last. Unlike my buddy Jerry S., I have traveled to Turkey, and I admit I had better yoghurt kebab in Ankara, in fact I remember the meals I ate in Turkey as some of the best I’ve ever had. Still, Bosphorous is excellent. Perhaps the combination of hot meat, vegetables, and yoghurt appeals to my tastes, I don’t know, but the food is spectacular. We also had the mixed starter with grape leaves and a variety of dipping sauces(hummus, taziki or whatever the Turks call it, and a weird fish egg thing). I’ve never liked anything wrapped in grape leaves – until now! Do yourself a favor and stick to one of the yoghurt-based dishes. My wife had a non-yoghurt dish, what I would call some kind of Turkish fajita, served on a hot metal plate; it was tragically forgettable. The baklava was the perfect way to end the meal. Go for the added ice cream, you’ve earned it! It’s a small serving, just the right amount of sweetness to end the night off without pushing you over the edge into diabetic coma, as seems to be the aim of many baklava varieties. On a warm summer night, though, with an open kitchen, this place is roasting inside. Try to score a table out front, or near a window. Maybe this is makes it more authentic? I don’t know, but wear deodorant – you’re going get a good sweat going.

I have traveled previously to the Middle East, but not Turkey. What I can say is if you are searching for a Mediterranean style meal, Bosphorus checks all the boxes. Amazing pita hot and fresh out of the clay oven? Check. Fantastic hummus and stuffed grape leaves? Definitely. Mediocre Turkish beer to really make you feel like you are there? You bet! All kidding aside, we went as a group of seven ordering a wide variety of the menu including the stuffed peppers, yogurtlu kebabs, and a couple clay dish baked items from their authentic portion of the menu… all very tasty. The group consensus was that we in fact DIDNOT consume enough calories between the appetizers and mains, so most of us opted for some Baklava to finish the night. It was an excellent decision, highly recommend. And if you want to feel like a millionaire splash some cash and get yours with ice cream.(kidding, it’s only 60p extra… well worth it). Needless to say this won’t be our last trip to Bosphorus, and I highly recommend booking ahead as from what I have heard the restaurant is consistently fully booked… and it isn’t hard to see why.

Great food and service now, staff is very friendly and engaged and there are many menu options. They get busy when you’d expect, but accept reservations over the phone. I recently booked a table for 10 that they were able to accommodate, and have also walked in with parties of two to four that they’ve been able to seat immediately. The restaurant is laid out nicely, and open for lunch as well. If you’re interested in Turkish cuisine, I recommend trying Bosphorus(and an Efes beer!).
