If you knew what they were saying!!! I am quite unique in the fact that I can speak a bit of Turkish and the things that were said about the customers by the Turkish staff was completely unacceptable! Would never set foot in there again and would advise others to do the same!

Meh. mediocre at best. Calamari super oily and heavy. Pinto beans taste like Heinz. Falafel very dry and poorly spiced. Prawn cocktail, well, very bland and in this horrible uk style of small shrimps covered in a heavy mayo based ‘cocktail’ sauce. Finally, the service is underwhelming and they include a 10 percent tip in the bill. Even for a table of two. I would avoid. Considerably better options all over Cambridge.

Eh. There’s not much unique or special about this place, but then again not much horribly wrong either. It is not remotely close to the standards of the best authentic Turkish restaurants in London, but then again miles better than most dreck in Cambridge. Décor is clean but off the shelf. Service staff were very friendly and prompt. Lots of stars to them. Food was middle of the road. Starter of mixed mezze was the usual collection but noting outstanding. The pile of prawns in the middle of the plate covered in some weird orange goopey dressing was the low point. Both of our mains were competent but uninspired. It wouldnt be top of our list of places to go back to but then again we would if in a pinch.

Extremely pleased. I went here on a Friday night and enjoyed(1) a grilled lamb dish in yoghurt and tomato sauce; and(2) Turkish lager. Extremely fresh, flavorful food; relaxed ambiance. There were other people around, but it was quiet enough to have a conversation without yelling. A highlight was the awesome service — rarely have I encountered staff so attentive and friendly without being overbearing. Like many places in Cambridge, I find the prices here to be on the higher end of the range I’m used to paying for similar ethnic restaurants in San Francisco, but they are reasonable by Cambridge standards(entrees £9−14, beer £2.50−3). I’ll be back with friends — I’d like to tackle the appetizer menu, as well as several of the other entrees about which I’m curious. One of the best restaurants I’ve found in my first two months in Cambridge.

I can hardly believe that this place does not have any reviews yet. On the first floor of a nargile parlor, the I wouldn’t have guessed this was a Turkish Restaurant from the outside if it had not been written. We ordered some yogurt, cucumber, olive oil dip with some pita bread. It was fresh and flavorful. The deep fried goat cheese filled pastries were also really good but the entrée is why I decided to stir away from my pub reviews and write about this place. I had a Shisslak kebab. Pieces of grilled lamb topped with mushrooms, onions and bell peppers. he lamb was so fresh and juicy and cooked perfectly. was a little sad when it was done. The portion, with rice, was way generous for a reasonable price(in New York standards). They carried some Turkish lager as well. The only down side was the dessert menu that could have been a little bit more original. I definitely recommend it!
