Love this place. The music is a bit alternative — some mainstream modern stuff but some brilliant old classics mixed in. Rock/indie focus sprinkled with a bit of cheese. Late opening, live music on occasion. Just watch the steps!

Good attitude. I was in there early 8pm Saturday for a pint, £2−50 in 2014 can’t complain. No aggro, has Ac-Dc and rock posters, tattoos a plenty and jeans. And Candles, yes really. L shaped underground bar right opposite entrance stairs; toilets clean look good. Allready filling up with groups who know each other, some woman shouted out that she herself was a slag. Fair enough. I got a hard look of some woman who took a few moments to think I was not Him afterall. went ok though. I would call in again. Bring a friend to talk too/snog, unless you are a Sloane ranger.

Great little club for those who prefer alternative music. Dj Chris is happy to take requests all night. Drinks are reasonably priced. It being Underground gives a good atmosphere and staff are friendly and quick to serve. Only wish it could be bigger!

The Blind Tiger is a ve-ery popular cellar bar/pub/whatever you like really. Really friendly staff that make the place feel like a proper hangout than some commercial venture trying to take your money. Like they have their own facebook group(with over 400 hundred members no less plus videos and snaps), a regular Monday Quiz Night and fun stuff like weekend DJs e.g. Mainline who spins everything from indie to house music for the Blind Tigerettes. Exposed brick, wood beamed ceilng, a well stocked bar(especially on the beer front) and some comfy sofas complete the picture. Oh, and did I mention the drinks are really cheap… That might account for the merriment of everyone in there.
