Pros:
–Spacey, clean, fresh feeling
–Booking was unnecessary on a Thursday
–Everything on the menu was available (rare for a fish restaurant!)
–Highly recommend the matzo meal cod
–All cocktails £5.50-£7
–I have heard great things about the breakfast/​brunch
–Not «Essex“y at all (on a Thursday at least!)
Cons:
–Nothing vegetarian on this menu except for tomato pasta on kids’ menu.
Other than veal, steak and a burger it is 100% fish.
–Some things seemed a bit pricey– £9 for a prawn starter? £2.50 for some gherkins?
–Great chips (thick or thin) but cost extra
–Steep flight of stairs to toilets (I was with one older diner)
–Not open on Mondays
