Closest pub to my mums house so have been in loads.
Carvery dinner for 4 quid during the week… i find that hard to resist, even if it is a bit hit and miss sometimes quality wise.
standard pub booze prices and selection.

I have been here once for a carvery and I was thoroughly disappointed. The food was completely over cooked and tasteless and the gravy was extremely watery and tasted more like vinegar.
Definitely won’t be returning in a hurry!

It only costs 3.99 so you get what you pay for. Food was all hot, cooked and the veg selection was good but all pretty average and I cant complain at that price. Cakes were nice and wine was really cheap — we had a good time. I wouldn’t go on a sunday as not worth additional price. we were lucky it was not busy and there was no queue.

Reasonable food served quickly at amazingly good prices. If it’s value for money you want and you like carvery food this is the place to go. Staff are friendly and helpful. The sort of place you would visit on a whim with a large faimily and leave wondering if they made a mistake with the bill as it was so cheap!

This is a lovely pub that serves really nice food. There is a carvery served every day with a choice of 3 meats, lots of veg, potatoes and gravy. This pub was burnt down not so long ago and has been rebuilt so a very high standard. Highly recommended and I will be visiting again!
