Lovely sun trapped deck to relax with a coffee, but terrible coffee served with boiled Milk.

I’m a huge fan of Savana coffee. The food here is excellent, whether you plump for breakfast, mexican food or a jacket potato. As well as being good quality, the portion sizes are excellent. They do really nice milkshakes and coffee’s here and it is a treat to be able to find ice-coffee, although the last day I was here, the ice-coffee had not been cooled enough. Staff here are so lovely though that you can tell them if there is a problem and not feel like they are going to take your food away then spit on it before they bring it back. Excepting the slightly warm ice-coffee however, I never have had a problem with the food. Tasty and delicious feed in a warm welcoming café with friendly staff.

One of the perfect places to people watch in Southville, with the shop’s door actually situated further back than is the norm with the majority of shops along North Street, you are able to enjoy your beverage out in the cold & wet(unless miraculously the sun comes out). Thankfully though you are protected from a drenching thanks to the roof over your head and the slightly mis-matched, mustard coloured, veranda adorning the shop’s front. The coffee in here is very nice, the staff are friendly and the enviroment is very comfortable. The all day breakfast helps with those saturday morning hangovers a treat, and the Tapas menu is a delight for those following a ‘snack every hour’ diet!

A buzzing little café which is popular with the locals, this place is certainly worth a visit. Serving a range of food, including Mexican, Greek and Spanish dishes, in addition to pizzas, pasta and paninis, you are spoilt for choice here. If you’re a fan of Tapas, I’d recommend you sample Savana’s Tapas — it is heavenly. The café also serves all day breakfasts(circa £5), and caters for vegetarians. Furthermore, outside seating is plentiful, and allows for an interesting spot of people watching at the heart of North Street’s local community. It’s all good, really.
