Lovely staff, great food, really good portions and reasonable prices. * poached egg was badly poached(the yolk wasn’t runny, it was solid); * steak lacked salt; * burger patty was really small compared to the buns. I had to remove the top bun and fold the bottom one. Other than those 3 little things, it was great. Would definitely come back again.

Went here last week with a groupon voucher for a bargain meal, mezze for two and a free drink. Sadly my free drink(a mojito) was appalling! Had I paid cocktail prices for it I wouldn’t have been impressed. The food was tasty, though very salty, I loved my apple tea and yummy home-made desserts at the end of the meal. The staff were really lovely and friendly. Service was excellent and the place was really buzzy despite it only being a Monday night. I liked the décor, relaxed cute café style, reminded me slightly of the former café cairo in Clapham North. If I had another bargain groupon voucher, I’d certainly eat out here again and it looked like a fun place to meet up with friends. However just don’t order a mojito!!!

Caffe Sazz is a lively turkish café and restaurant with traditional turkish dishes on the menu, the waiting staff are really pleasant and friendly, the food both meat and veggie options are delicious and excellent value. Try the mezze for starters & free glass of wine if two or more people are dining! Very handy for the tobacco factory bar and theatre!

Caffe Sazz is a dreadful name for a mediocre mini restaurant. The owner and staff are nice enough, but there’s a lot more places that I’d rather be in Bristol. I can’t tell you whether the food is, as claimed, authentic Turkish fare, as I’ve never been to Turkey. I have only ever had coffee here and so cannot really comment… but it looks and smells pretty good when I’ve witnessed it being delivered to other tables. I’m really no fan of Turkish coffee, and ordered without realising this is what I’d get. But in its defence, it wasn’t bad. It’s the fact that Sazz is suffering from a bit of an identity crisis that I presumed I’d be getting a regular coffee. They serve Turkish, Mediterranean and English food, presumably applying a catch-all and cash in philosophy. I prefer places to stick to what they do best, but I suppose it’s safer to hedge your bets in this area of South Bristol, which is still pretty trad despite an influx of ‘the beautiful people’ over the last couple of years. With belly dancers on a Saturday night, it may appeal to the culturally curious???

Sazz is a fully-licensed Turkish café-bar-restaurant in Bedminster, serving up tasty Turkish and English food in a friendly, party-like atmosphere — with live music and cheeky belly dancing on Saturdays. From the outside it looks like any fairly conventional café, but inside it’s beautifully finished with red walls and decorative items imported from Turkey. Outside at the front of the café there’s also a small roped-in seating area for warmer days and evenings. The menu offers plenty of choice, not only of Turkish dishes but also other Mediterranean cuisine and English dishes. I stuck with Turkish food, sharing a lovely mixed mezze followed by imam bayaldi(aubergine stuffed with onion, garlic, tomatoes, etc), then a piece of baklava with a cup of apple tea(the scent of which briefly transported me back to my holiday in Turkey!). I’d happily recommend this place to friends.

Describing itself as a ‘perfect blend of east-meets-west dining’, Caffe Sazz’s charm most definitely lies in its diverse menu. Specialising in Turkish cuisine, you can purchase a number of speciality Turkish dishes, or alternatively, you can indulge in a traditional English breakfast. And if you’re stopping for a beverage, this place serves the usual range of teas(including a yummy authentic Turkish blend), coffees and soft drinks, in addition to a full bar. Although it is rather small, Caffe Sazz looks the part with its authentic Turkish décor, deep red walls and all round rustic vibe. And pertaining to its exotic theme, the caffe employs professional belly dancers every Saturday night for some fruity entertainment.

Good, bigger than it looks, Turkish café and bar. They serve sandwiches and cooked breakfasts as well as mezze. The imam bayildi and the veggie mixed mezze are both lovely. The two tables on the street are perfectly placed to catch the afternoon sun, even in the winter.
