This gorgeous spa-​like shop is inspired by traditional therapies such as Middle Eastern Hammams and Indian Ayurvedic treatments, and it looks far more expensive than it actually is.
With exotic-​sounding products such as ‘Shanti Chakra’ body oil, ‘Yogi Secret’ foot scrub, and ‘Hammam Happiness’ conditioner, the fragrances are luxurious and aimed at transporting your mind to far-​flung places. You can try many of the products in the shop, with a sink and clean towels on hand to wash it off afterwards. Scented candles, Oriental lanterns and oil diffusers can help you complete the spa-​like scene in your own bathroom.
For an indulgent treat or a gorgeous gift, this is a great shop with surprisingly reasonable prices. The range of male grooming products and even a wide array of teas mean you could find a present for most people in here. The product ranges changing regularly, so you can also take advantage of their sales to pick up a real bargain from time to time.

Every fragrance in all the producs in this shop is subtle, unusual, and unique. And it is all sold at a very good price for such high quality, scrumptious stuff. Rituals sells shower and bath products, body scrubs, hand scrubs and makeup, but also more unusual things such as herbal teas and Chinese-​style tea sets, and loungy clothes such as dressing gowns and slippers. It’s all designed and packaged in a stylish, minimalist, understated, almost utilitarian style, but, thanks to the lovely fragrances and soft fabrics, it all still manages to be luxurious.
I love the fact that they have an enormous sink at which you can try the hand washes and scrubs, complete with fluffy white towels for you to use. If you just come in here to freshen up your hands using a lovely product during a busy shopping trip at Cabot Circus, you’ll end up buying something on your way out because it’s all such good value and so appealing.
Big tubs of body scrub for £12, shower gels for £6, their famous Hand Therapy scrub for £9.90. It’s all very classy for such high street price tags. I have never managed to leave this shop without buying some little treat either for me or for someone else. It’s worth noting that they wrap every purchase in beautiful giftwrap and branded stickers, so you’ll be able to get an entire wrapped-​up present for someone sorted in one place. Fabulous.
