Nice place to be in. Meals are tasty. They burned a chicken once though but never mind. Prices are little expensive compared to many restaurants in Bristol.

A place that specializes in chicken! A nice casual place to get a meal with a group. I got the wing roulette to go, but whether because of how they are packaged + transportation or the actual wings themselves. The flavors all tasted pretty similar to me, though there were a few bites that elicited some tears and a lot of water chugging. I’d love to go back for the peri peri dry roasted chicken.

This branch of Nando’s is practically always busy, and that’s probably because it’s consistently good. What they do is simple but perfectly executed: great spicy barbecued chicken, salads and a few sides. Actually, their menu is far more extensive than that, but you get the idea. Don’t let that put off any vegetarians amongst you, though, because they have tasty veggie and bean burgers in rolls, pitta bread or wraps, but best of all is the roasted Portobello mushroom and grilled halloumi cheese burger — absolutely delicious. Even as a meat-eater I’m torn between whether to order this or a piece of chicken. If you’re going for any of the appetisers, the spicy mixed olives are lovely but contain a LOT of garlic, so save it for a non-date meal — while the Peri-Peri Nuts pack quite a punch. Every piece of chicken I’ve ever eaten here has been cooked perfectly, with sauce as spicy as you choose. The salad is always crisp, and it’s the only place I know of where you can get barbecued corn-on-the-cob, which I love. My only slight criticism of this branch would be its cramped layout — with little space between the tables.

There is something beautiful about Nandos chicken. I have never walked away from a Nandos less happy and fullfilled than when i walked in. the chef’s at Nandos know how to keep it simple, they certainly take heed to the motto ‘Quality not quantity’, the menu is simple. I also have a special bond with this particular branch, it is where my Nandos relationship first blossomed. I also love the staff, because they forgot to bring my girlfriends salad, so they gave us the meal for free, with as many sides as we wanted!

A bit of a mixed review on this Nandos. I personally love the food and the price, but I’m not a fan of this particular branch. It feels cramped and over crowded in here, and considering it’s always packed in here they really need to think about rearranging some of the furniture so that I can get me and my big handbag past other customers without bashing them in the head. The service was also non existent on the occasion I visited. To be fair we did come in a group of about 15+ so they were probably a bit rushed off their feet but still I did expect a bit more. The waitress had no idea who order who and got a few of the dishes wrong but we did get our food in the end so I can’t complain too much. I would recommend the Mediterranean salad with chicken more so than the pittas — it was amazing.

This place was packed just after Christmas, but there’s no excuse for the poor service offered up by this chicken chain restaurant. I heard that they were short-staffed, but our meals arrived at different times so half the table ate before their meals got cold and the remaining few waited. But for what? BBQ chicken, beans and mashed potato. You pay over the odds for something pretty basic. Portuguese styling might be have been worth it when Nandos first came onto the scene in the 90s, but now it needs to step up its game a bit! Bristolians might be forgiving, but I thought this was my 2nd worst meal in the city. Mike e. says that the Cabot Circus location is a better experience, so may be try that one?! Personally, I think some more chicken restaurants need to open up to shake Nandos up a little. In the US, even the fast-food joint El Pollo Loco would kick this chains butt(and for ½ the price!)

I have to confess having something of a soft spot for Nando’s chicken. Out of all the chained restaurants up and down the country, this is one I find myself willingly walking into quite often. It is good quality food, done very simply and it tastes delicious. I seem to always have a HOT chicken in a pita and occasionally I ask for some halloumi as an extra and my mouth is starting to salivate as I’m thinking about this, but it’s awesome. The free refills on your soft drinks is good and something I like to take advantage as much as possible, but the only downside to Nando’s is the waiter service. I want somebody to come to my table and take my order(because I’m lazy). I don’t want to have to queue up to order(that’s what you do in McDonalds.)

I’m a bit of a snob about chains, you’ll never catch me in a McDonalds. For Nando’s, and their oh-so-good chicken, I make an exception. My university years were regularly punctuated by trips to one of their London branches, where I would gorge on half chickens and big thick chips. Returning to Bristol I was glad to find the same succulent chicken, in fact the same menu entirely(but then I suppose that’s just the joy of chains). The Bristol one is a particularly nice Nando’s. Halfway up Park street, it’s light and airy with the smell of cooking chicken thick in the air(and tempting you in when you’re trudging up the hill). The staff are the usual chirpy, quick and eager to please that you usually get. Not massively cheap but certainly below mid-range. Most importantly, gorgeous chicken every time.

A staple restaurant for leisure parks(Aspects and Cribbs here in Bristol have branches), this does surprisingly well in this bit of town probably purely because it is a fun restaurant for groups. This is a favourite for work outings and they have a new branch in Cabot Circus to catch the shoppers that end of town. You can order platters of chicken in a choice of spiciness to share and talk about, burgers and wraps. Fast and friendly food — think KFC but way nicer and in funkier surroundings.

Chicken in all its glory. Spicy chicken to be exact. This branch on Park Street isn’t the biggest but the food is just as good. Pay once, free refills on all soft drinks, good value chicken, tastier than McDonalds and only marginally more expensive(get the Main Course and two sides deal). Plus, you get a great view of all the passerbys on a Friday or Saturday Night!

When I last went with a friend the plates were grimy, the chicken fatty and the cutlery unpleasant to touch. I usually love Nandos but the Park St one is not one of the cleanest places.

I have been eating out at Nandos for a while, and the one situated on park street is fantastic. The menu is the same fantastic one as at every Nandos. The flame grilled chicken is fantastic(peri~peri of course) with either the chips or spicy rice, if your feeling healthy grab the caesar salad and to quench the fire soft drinks are bottomless refills. And did I mention there is still the great Nandos service.

Despite being a chain Nando’s has certainly got a good thing going on. It’s homemade sauces are delicious especially the peri-peri. The chicken is great and you are guaranteed to have a great meal everytime. It is pretty good value for money and not pretentious like so many chains are today. I woul definitely recommend it after a hard day’s shopping.

Nandos are famous for their flame grilled chicken and delicious peri peri sauces. And you know a restaurant is good when the tables are always busy. The menu has a range of chicken options — half, quartered, wings, in a bun or pitta bread as well as vegetarian burger options and the usual suspects appear on the sides — coleslaw, salad, rice, corn. Kids meals are also available. Over the weekend, the service was pretty slow, but hey, it was Saturday lunchtime, so by the time my chicken burger arrived, it didn’t hang around on my plate for long. The chicken was tender and tasty, amply drizzled with the wild herb sauce, the corn on the cob, also flame grilled was perfectly sweet and succulent and the garlic bread garlicky. My companion, whose palate is less delicate than mine, was blown away by the extra hot sauce. I love the idea of being able to bring all their gorgeous sauces to the table to sample. However, we didn’t have desert as I thought the portions looked a bit on the tiny side and I thought the wine was a bit overpriced, but it’s all relative isn’t it?
