Mrs Brown’s Cafe

This is a lovely little trailer at the top of Victoria park. They sell tea, coffee, amazing hot chocolate, cakes, toasties, bacon sandwiches, crumpets, cereral, icecreams and soft drinks (and probably lots more i have forgotten) They have several tables under the trees you can sit on and they have highchairs for babies. I always feel a bit sorry for this business when it is raining as they don’t get very much business but when the sun is shining they are always busy and provide a great service to users of the park.

Situated right next to the children’s play park in Victoria Park, Mrs Brown’s Café is a very welcome for all the parents. They do a nice range of cakes, some great smelling bacon sandwiches and lots of drinks for the kids too.
I have heard that the café could maybe get a more permanent structure (as park of the Lodge building next to the play park) and I think that would make the café better still.
If I was to have one criticism, I have found the lady who serves has been quite curt to me on occasion but that has been when she has been overwhelmed with customers!
