Friendly, relaxed dining. Food was fresh, tasty and moreish. The staff were attentive and friendly unfortunately we tried it on our last night in Bristol and sooo wished we had visited before. Well at least we know for next time, would defiantly recommend.

Popped in here for a late breakfast with hangovers. Friendly staff and reasonable service. Great food really enjoyed it, coffee not the greatest but far from the worst. Lovely environment plenty of space and i think maybe a garden too, great for any situation will happily return any time.

The breakfasts in here are very nice, there is a good selection of teas and the service is very good. I find it an excellent local option if I want to nip out for a quick lunch or breakfast. I have not been here in the evening but the menu looks decent enough and I have had good comments and recommendations from friends. It’s no more expensive than the rest of places locally who do similar breakfasts but the portions are certainly larger than them and the atmosphere is nice and friendly

This a good place to take your family, or if you’re like me, a good place to have some coffee and Mediterranean food whilst getting some work done! The menu ranges from your usual English favourites like burgers, steak and Sunday roasts, but their more European options are worth checking out! Plus, their pizza is fantastic! And I don’t say this lightly, but I have given up with pizzahut because of this place. Nice Italian flat base and you can get a 14 inch takeout for £6.00 at the moment! Anyway, I’ve always loved the atmosphere in mezzaluna, it’s a family run local café and the owners are always great to sit and have a chat with. Sold?

A great place if you’re after a no-frills meal. The portions are huge and the prices good. Service is excellent with a decent range of beers and wines at keen prices. This was my local for many years and a very good one at that.

I live right next to this place and never use it. Initially, I though it would be a good place for a morning coffee on my way to work but they are never open at 8am as advertised. I think they actually open sometime after 9am. I’ve had a breakfast in here, which was terrible and I’ve had coffee /tea /beer in here with friends. The atmosphere of the place is nice enough but I think it’s quite over priced. The service is pleasant enough but I wouldn’t recommend it to friends, I’d rather travel an extra 5 minutes and go to the café’s on North Street.

I passed Mezzaluna regularly until popping in here for a bite to eat after work in a Monday evening. The ambience on a Monday evening at 6pm was quiet to say the least, with only 1 other person in there. The service we received was therefore was unsurprisingly attentive and excellent. I had filo parcels which were excellent and spaghetti carbonara,(good rather than great). The portion was huge, I was only able to eat about half. If I go back I would go for the mezze I think. Don’t let the location(next to Tesco) put you off, its definitely worth a visit.

If you’re fond of Mediterranean food, Mezzaluna will no doubt appeal to your tastes. Serving a range of authentic Mediterranean dishes, from Mousaka to Spanish omelette to fresh fish, the menu here is both exotic and diverse. The restaurant’s downfall, however, is its location. Although it has tried desperately hard to create a Mediterranean ambiance with its sun, sea and sand related décor, the harsh reality of the matter cannot be concealed: Mezzaluna is situated next door to the monstrosity that is Tesco Express, and is almost completely overshadowed by the drab modern apartments it is attached to. That aside, if you’re a fish lover, I strongly recommend you sample the Grilled Sea Bass here. You may well be transported to another place entirely for the duration of this heavenly dish.

This Mediterranean Café — Bar — Restaurant is located in a very lovely little unit in the Airpoint complex on Bedminster’s West Street. Nestled in next to an express version of one of Britain’s largest supermarkets(I think you know what I mean) it is a fantastic relief to find a place like Mezzaluna. With it’s menu filled with gorgeous and tasty food which would compliment any evening meal, the restaurant also serves up daily pannini and other items for those of you looking to have breakfast out of the house or for a little treat at brunch. The décor of the restaurant is beautiful and a perfect compliment to the delightful served. The bar is also well stocked and is a very welcome addition to the restaurant, and brings some style and individuality to this little corner of West Street.
