Leo’s chippy is situated in the middle of a housing estate, among a small rank of shops which are slowly getting converted into housing. The fish and chips I had from here were really very good. The fish was nicely cooked, staff helpful and friendly. Could not fault the quality of the food. A standard portion of cod and chips from Leo’s is £5.90, so not the cheapest around. Portion sizes here are very large though, the fish is huge and plenty of chips. I struggled to get through the amount given. Well worth a visit, this is one of the better chip shops in the area. Check opening times though. They don’t open at all Monday and Sunday and always shut at 8pm.

Your local chippy, but more expensive and noisy probably closed. Opens only midday till 2pm and 5pm til 8pm on Tuesdays through Saturday. The chips are of good quality but for a chippy run by Chinese people there is no Chinese food at all. The only thing more strange than no Chinese in a Chinese chippy is the weird array of toys and gadgets in the left over heater counter. Only use if you have no other choice… Which you do !
