This is quite a reputable place to get your gaming fix. I’ve bought many secondhand games from here and have never really had a problem. In fact, I once bought a faulty copy of Pro Evo a couple of years back, so I went to the shop and handed it to the counter guy. He put it in their own PS2, saw that it jittered weirdly, went, «yeah, ’tis f*cked, mate,» and gave me another copy straight away. Not sure what they’d do if they didn’t have anything else in stock, but I imagine it’d be a case of picking anything else in the shop for the same value or taking a credit note — gone are the days when you could get your money back. Anyway, they have a large range of the most current games, from next-​gen PS3 and Xbox 360 numbers to PSP and DS nonsense. Hell, they even had a couple of Sega Saturn games there last time I went. Now that’s commitment to the cause.

Gamestation in Bristol offer great value preowned and brand new games for almost every console under the sun — they are occaisonally known the sell the odd vintage console such as the NES or a Jaguar, and are very competitive in the money they’re willing to give for games. Tell them what the competitor offered, and they’ll beat it by a pound!
The staff are always willing to recommend various games and there’s a great little cabinet of retro games to either buy or at very least take you back to your childhood.
This is a great place to buy your games and well worth visiting if you’re looking to get a good trade for your games.
