Excelsior Comics

Hurrah the independent comic store! These died out faster than independent music stores. It is a real shame, because comics deserve to be sold by small independent shops with staff who will take the time to talk to you about the thing you have a mutual love for. You come here for the conversation as much as you do for the comics; you need your weekly dose of comic fan chat.
I had a great time in the shop today chatting about Comic Con and this week’s releases, but really where they stand out is on their 10% discount on standing orders. So if like me you are a weekly collector and were gutted when they put the prices up all that time ago you should pick up your subscription from here. I mean with you money you save you can buy more comics!!! What else.
I haven’t been down to Excelsior as much as I should, but I have so much respect for them for opening this shop and will certainly be down there a lot more. Apparently they have games nights; I need to check that out!
