To be quite honest I haven’t really updated my wardrobe for a good few years (maybe 10) and when I do occasionally buy the odd jumper, or pair of jeans, it’s usually from one of the many charity shops in the city. However, my girlfriend does sometimes drag me around Cabot Circus on a shopping trip and on one such occasion, I happened across G-​Star Raw. When it comes to the men’s clothing, there’s the usual range of jeans, shirts and hoodies, but it’s all a little «try-​hard» for my liking. The price tags are also a bit out of my budget — I think I’d rather save up for an iPad.

G-​Star Raw is the perfect example of why you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover. From the outside I thought it wouldn’t be the store for me: graffiti window displays with black and silver signs. But inside I found classic styles and friendly sales assistants.
I am currently in love with a bag which is sadly priced out of my budget — but am trying to find a good excuse to buy. I also love the trendy takes on standards like the LBD and clutch handbag. Perfect for young adults with a big budget.
