Ordered, they called me up and said at that time of night I had to pay by card so had to go online and order again, this time by card not cash. Fine I thought. Then they called again to say the driver was not available to drive. No apologies, not one sorry! Never ever order from this place!!!

Strategically placed to soak up hangovers accumulated on Whiteladies Road, Domus is beloved by all those who are drunk and peckish. Very peckish.
Serving up the usual kebabs and similar greasy fare, I’ve heard far too many anecdotes about friends waking up proud to have resisted temptation on their late night stumble back home, only to spy four empty Domus boxes parked in front of them to want ever to go down that road.
In short, it serves a particular purpose (drunk food) and if that’s not what you’re after, seek sustenance elsewhere.

Domus was a regular stop off when i was walking home last year, the kebab shop on the hill would often be open later than anywhere else which always pulled in the hoardes.
The food is as you would expect– pretty greasy and always tasting better if you put extra ketchup and cheese on them. I would not recommend a sober Domus, but then again that i think is true of any kebab shop.

When nothing but a whopping dirty great kebab on the way home will do, there are places like Domus.
Chips, kebabs, kebab & chips, pizza, kebab pizza (you get the idea). But they do a mighty fine greek salad and the pitta and houmous ain’t half bad either, if you’re feeling healthy.
The inevitable downside I find is that they’re absolutely packed with inebriated people on a Saturday night. Not so fun.

Domus is good, greasy, cheap food. Its the kind of place that you stumble in to after a session in the pub and want absolutely everything on the menu. It sells a lot more than just pizzas, with kebabs and chips on the menu. iT also offers friendly banter at all hours and it is a pleasure to chat away whilst your food is cooking. Cheap food and all the grease you want. mmmmm tasty.
