Since the closing down of Threshers I think these small independant Off licenses will thrive. Unfortunatley I think they realise this as well so rather than trying to get more custom by lowering price they are a bit over expensive as they know people don’t have a choice.
I don’t really have anything negative to say about Del’z, it’s good service, there is a good selection, it’s clean and well presented, but it’s just a bit too expensive (or maybe i’m a bit too tight!)
For convienience it’s open 7 days a week, so for those Sunday lunches when you are missing that vital wine, or cider for the gravy you know there is always somewhere to head.
