Boots The Chemists

This review is for boots pharmacy rather than the shop itself!
Since moving to Emersons Green and registering with a new doctors I was given the option of boots or Sainsbury’s for a pharmacy and what a mistake I made choosing boots.
I am yet to have a good experience when picking up a prescription. The staff are incredibly rude and so unhelpful and even though there can be ⁴⁄₅ people working in the pharmacy it can take them 30 minutes to produce a prescription. I understand that it can take a little while but at my old pharmacy in Winterbourne I was never made to wait longer than 5 minutes. Infact I don’t think I would mind as much if the staff weren’t so rude when they spoke to you.
I’m that fed up with them I am now changing to Sainsbury’s in the hope that the service is better.
The staff elsewhere in the store are so helpful it’s just a shame that the pharmacy staff let them down. I will still shop in boots but just not for my prescriptions.

This is a really good branch of Boots as there is plenty of parking which is all free right outside the shop. It is a decent sized shop but not of their largest, however, they sell most things here. There is a childrens clothes department which you don’t get in some of the smaller Boots shops, fairly large make up and perfume section, optician and a pharmacy. I have got some of my prescriptions here and have asked for advice here before, the staff have been bery helpful and knowledgable.

I quite often shop in this Boots as it is convenient, has free parking outside and normally isn’t very busy (being in an out of town retail park). It has all the usual things you’d expect from Boots — pharmacy service, toiletries, cosmetics, hair and beauty stuff. However this Boots also includes a pharmacy and photo printing services. Handy to have this all under one roof.

I love boots full stop, but to have one soo close to me with also alot of other shops is such a bonus. This is one of the smaller stores, but have a massive variety of stock. There are always offers on and money saving ideas which i think is fantastic.
