Fresh fish still alive if you get there in the morning! Freshly picked whelks too! And amazing essex oysters recommend to everyone :)

This place is amazing, I shop here at least once a week. Neil and son Jack are friendly, knowledgable and skilled. Fish is mostly local and caught from small 1 or 2 man boats with nets — no factory ships or beam fishing so you can eat from here with a clear conscience.
Not to mention the prices: it’s the most incredible value. I regularly buy a good size plaice for about a pound.
Go here. Support you local fish man. You won’t regret it.
