While this shop does look a little empty, mainly due to the fact that the clothes are displayed on two rows at the side of the room, it gets serious bonus point for the staff. The two guys that run this shop are so helpful, they really know their stuff and will go out of their way to help. They are both seasoned runners and can therefore recommend not only running shoes and gear, but also races, running clubs, local physios etc etc… I don’t go in that often(which says a lot about my running!) but they always recognise me when I do. They can also be spotted marshalling and volunteering at local events, taking a really active role in the running community of Brighton and Hove. If you go in to buy a new pair of running shoes I would definitely recommend making sure you have a hour or two to spare. They are very thorough in discussing your needs and making sure that you go home with the most suitable shoes for you. They even send you round the block a number of times to make sure the shoes are as comfortable as possible. The only negative point to Run is that they sometimes could do with more stock — I tried to get a head band in here recently but they only had one left in a large size that was no good for me. However, if you want great customer service and knowledgable staff, this is the place to come!

This is everything that I dislike in shops; you walk in and there are a handful of clothing rails, but the majority of the store is just empty. Everything is a bit too cool, the shop is empty and ‘minimalist’, the staff aren’t friendly in anyway. The clothes on offer are ok, but they cost about three times what they should. It all just distracts from the supposed purpose of being an athletics store. The shop is apparently run by experienced athletes, so the advice you get will be good, I didn’t stick around though, the whole place put me off.
