The best time to go to Revolutions is in the summer… in the sun. It has a very large and well set out back garden area which is perfect in sunny weather. Theres a sheltered area where you can eat outdoors and lots of heated seating areas incase ot gets chilly at night. And theres a good vibe in the garden– lots of chatter. Inside isnt really my cup of tea, very loud and on the weekends you’ll get a lot of fake tan and skyscraper heels. The cocktails made at the bar are made well and are tasty but my advice would be to take it outside! In fact whatever drink it is, take it outside and enjoy the best part of revolutions– otherwise I wouldnt recommend.

Sorry, but this just isn’t for me. What I was doing in West Street in the first place, who knows, but this club sums up all that is wrong with the area. I just didn’t feel comfortable in here at all. It felt a bit ‘meat market’, I’m sorry to say, and I didn’t want to make eye contact with anyone in case they thought I was on the pull/trying to steal their fella/spilling their pint! The music was ok, but the drinks were pricey, although it was only 3 quid to get in. Sorry, folks — not my bag at all…
