Let’s not sell Kulture short here… You can get 3 for the price of one on most drinks… Anything on tap, a good selection of spirits, and if its in a bottle, you’ll probably get three of them for one and all. The perfect place to start a cheap night out, head here before 10pm Thursday(among other days) to grab yourself an incredible bargain… When I went a couple of weeks back, it wasn’t even that popular a bargain… But I had a great night out on a tenner! Free entry and shot at Cassablanca, then on to Audio for £1… But this is meant to be about Kulture! I admit that I’m not a fan of the music, and the music doesn’t draw my kind of crowd… but its a nice clean looking place with a large comfy seating area outback with fairly weedy patio heaters to make spending time outside in these winter months a slightly more attractive option… But then I’m bound to look on a place favourably if it facilitates a good night out at such a low price.

I like this club and most times I have been I have had a good time. With a relaxed upstairs that normally has random things going on that Samantha explained, and a downstairs that offers a more nightclub feel this has a place has a good balance. It is also one of the only places that is cheap on a Saturday night which is why most of the visitors are younger than in other places but do old people go clubbing? If you are old and need to sit down then there is plenty of seating so you’ll get a seat. The music is often samey on every night so if you want a different experience then this wouldn’t be the best place to go.

Its not my cup of tea but a pretty perfect version of what it is, a cheesetastic club for students and teeny boppers. It has something on most nights including YouDirtyStopOut, Wii Wednesdays, Fresh Fridays & Freak Out Saturdays. Lacking in imagination though the club night titles may be, its one of the most popular venues on West Street with Brighton revelers. An absolutely perfect venue for stag and hens. The music is a varied collection of pop from indie chart toppers to R&B depending on the night. The interior is modern and clean, with booth tables, window drapes and laminate flooring… reminiscent of the Pitcher & Piano blanket décor. Not somewhere I would frequent but may be worth a venture if you’re into your pop music, townies and BOGOF drinks.
