I like the variety and constant high standards of the Pizza Express chain and this branch in the Brighton Marina doesn’t disappoint. Not only can you sit inside or out and get a rather pretty view of the boats in the Marina but you also get free parking. Parking is at a premium in Brighton so that’s a real saving. Pleasant staff, pretty vista and all in all a good place to take family and friends.

I wish i had found this website sooner to make my frustrations known. I visited this restaurant four times and was ignired at the door every single time by the staff. Each time i left and ate at another restaurant. Finally i complained to their customer services on their website and received a reply and a voucher for a free meal. Needless to say I went to the PE in Regernt Street in Brighton Town Centre and had a great meal. From some of the other comments below it seems nothing has changed at the Marina branch.

Faith has been restored in a pizza chain! After a poor meal at another Pizza Express we «had» to use the £30 gift voucher we had been given. We tested the water with the Marina Resaurant and were really impressed. Despite being FULL the staff were efficient and polite in getting us to wait and took our drinks order.
The food was well presented and tasty, again service was very good, above expectations! We were served by one server and a manger who wished us well for the evening.
In brief, Friday night at the Marina we had very low expectations, but the team provided us with a memorable evening for all the right reasons and we would love to reccomend the restaurant to all Pizza Express doubters!

Why is the lighting always so stark in these venues. I always feel like I’m being made a point out of when eating their dough balls. It’s probably one of the reasons I don’t frequent this place. Besides the fact that it’s massively over-priced. I have to say that the pizza’s are always tasty and their salads always deliciously fatty (how I like them). But can they get some lamps.

Used to love this place as a kid the last few times I’ve been the food just hasn’t seemed that special. I know someone that used to work here and the food ain’t fresh, all the dough comes in frozen. Still, when you’ve got the vouchers the price is good, but that’s the only reason you should really be coming here

I went there with a £10 for two pizzas voucher and we usually love the food but we weren’t as keen this time. The service wasn’t that great and the manager had her feet up in the coner of the restaurant — not the kind of thing I want to see when I am dining out. Usually good though so 4 stars from me.

pizza express is the way to go for pizzas!!! heard they’re doing 2 for 1 on pizzas too with the orange wednesdays :) have to use it soon… but everytime i’ve been there, have loved the pizzas and the staff ;)

Had a lovely meal here after walking along the front, great setting with views over the marina and you can sit outside on sunny day.
Usual menu but just a really nice setting. Good for the family.

This is a great branch of this well known chain as it has spectacular views of the Brighton Marina and of the English Channel.
Restaurant has ample seating inside and also outside. It’s one of the better restaruants at the Marina complex so if it’s a hot day it can get absolutely packed. Be prepared to either wait for a table or expect relatively slow service.
Menu is standard for Pizza Express, however, there is no doubt that their pizza’s are much better than their competitors.
This brach will just let you get a drink if you don’t fancy eating. There are much worse ways of spending a sunny summer afternoon !

Lovely ‘authentic’ feeling pizza restaurant which never fails to impress — i have taken several friends with me to eat out here and all have been stisfied with both the food and the service. The prices are very reasonable, especially when considering the rather upmarket décor and overall atmosphere of the place, i was pleasantly surprised the first time i ate here.
They also have a pretty good drinks menu with a decent selection of wines available — always nice to treat yourself when eating out!
I highly recommend this restaurant, it has always delivered on good food, service and fair price whenever i have visited.

Pizza Express offers very tasty, freshly cooked food combines with a friendly fast service. The food is cooked in open plan kitchens within the restaurant so you can see your food being prepared, so you know its fresh. They also do salads, however they tend to over complicate these with sauces and spices, so I tend to avoid them here.

The service is very good, the place is lovely and the food is nice! Just a little confuse about the extra price if you want your pizza thinner. Don’t aspect a very big cake either

The restuarant is fresh and clean lookin. There is access to the restaurant by lift or stairs. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Food is reasonable priced and a good wine menu.
