I was very happy with my hairdresser Malissa(if I’m not mistaken /Portuguese lady). It was crowded but they manage their Time very well, I was able to come in and finish in less than an hour while I had two people ahead of me. My hair is curly and dry, I had a shower before I come in so I didn’t require a wash. She only used the iron to straighten my hair and I’m very pleased with the result, such a perfectionist !!! I had a shoulders length hair and I was charged 9.90£

I always use celly’s partly because its so cheep and i dont mind not having it straightened afterwards(which you can have done, if you pay more) the only bad thing is you can make an appt so you have to be wiing to hang around for the best part of 2 hours from start to finish so i recommend going when they open with a chance of having any of your day left! or take a nice book and enjoy having to chill out :) so long as your clear about what you want(as with any hairdressers) the cost doesnt reflect on the training of the people working there :)

This place wasn’t too bad. It seemed like the clientele was older, with tons of people waiting usually. It was actually the 3rd time of me walking by where I didn’t see loads of people in the waiting area, so I stopped in. Got a good haircut, paid attention to detail, but defenitely looked like she was new, and took a long time for a quick cut. Overall… £9, cant ask for too much. I’d go back for a quick one… but might go somewhere else if I needed it to be perfect or if going to an event.

Celly’s; «where everything is £9», except anything that is not £9, and is just a mutiple of £9… Equally, what about a shampoo and blow dry, or a gentlemen’s hair cut, both of which are frequently cheaper than £9. Celly’s is a chain, not a very good one at that. They are franchised independtly, and judging by my experience here, not with very high standards. My girlfriend had a hair cut here and came away with emotions combining anger and sadness, never too pleasant. I’d recommend shelling out the bigger price tag and going somewhere better.

I’ve been in need of a haircut for some time. My hair’s just reached that rather horrible stage where no amount of styling or hair brushing can make it appear halfway acceptable. So, attracted by the numerous signs adorning this store’s exterior advertising haircuts for £9, I decided now was the right time for me to visit Celly’s. The service seemed friendly and fast at first, but unfortunately, after being taken upstairs and sat down in a chair ready to have my hair cut, I then found myself waiting around for a good few minutes for the actual hairdresser to arrive, and, when she finally did, communicational difficulties made it hard for me to convey what style of cut I’d like. Despite this, the eventual haircut I received was good, and I was pleased enough with the result. Furthermore, the price is certainly reasonable.
