Thyme Restaurant

Very slow service. Been in for a breakfast and a dinner. Hasn’t improve with either sitting.
Located within the Premier Inn and with no real reason to visit other than staying in the hotel.
Waiting over 20mins just for a basic cooked breakfast just isn’t on.
Food is on the better side of average. We had a cooked breakfast on 3 mornings which was well cooked but could have used nicer ingredients to make it feel more worth while. The breakfast buffet was a little sparse, bread based products tasted cheap and stale. Coffee was served out of pump serving flasks and felt like they were cutting corners.
The dinner was nice but nothing special. I had one of their gourmet burgers which was nice but overcooked, my friend had a mixed grill which was nice but used cheap cuts of meat that brought it down. They took a very long period of time to actually serve the food.
They really need to raise their game. Sort their time management and get their serving staff to work out how to serve people efficiently and in a timely manor.
