Very convenient, in the very centre of the city. It’s a little bit small, and sometimes you have to wait long to pay. I wouldn’t have organised it this way but never mind I always find my things. Tesco products are really good. The«breakfast all day» sandwich is just amazing. Also the«Naked green machine» smoothie is one of the most delicious things on earth.(But a little bit expensive(£2.36 for 480ml)).

This store is a reasonable Tesco Metro branch in Birmingham City center, with 2 floors and a layout of a typical Tesco Metro with 2 floors, which in a way resembles my local metro store in Manchester, despite its’ smaller size. This is a reasonable store to get some shopping done while in the shopping center, but mainly for essentials such as drinks, milk. They even sell the Pots and Co desserts, which are stocked in Selfridges on Oxford Street. They did have a poor selection of them, with only the Salted Caramel flavor, which I found to taste awful. The range of most items was reasonable, as I found with most things although I was also unable to pick up a Tesco Sim-card, and I didn’t notice a great selection of Lipton Iced Tea in the drinks section. The staff didn’t seem to care either, I actually queued the wrong way for self-service and went to the till and checked out, not realizing the queue was the other way, and they didn’t bat an eyelid. I actually bought 2 drinks here for the train journey home and left them in the bagging area, not realizing until I had left Birmingham on the train back to Manchester, the store were not helpful in trying to give me a refund, which I still would have liked despite it only costing £2.50, they said nothing was left behind even though it was obvious someone else either taken them, or just put it back and forgot to log it, the store then couldn’t transfer me through to the customer service center as they had already transferred me to them. This store is a reasonable store, but it is nothing more than that and sadly only deserves 2 stars.

Convenient for when you’re in city centre and need to pop in a hurry to buy the basic essentials you need, also for lunch time or after work dinner. It’s a large supermarket, has two floors and always busy during the day time.

We used this store as we where staying in apartments nearby, and this store was ideally located. In the evening you can be limited to what’s available as once it’s gone, it’s gone especially in sandwiches & bread products. It’s strange in that every Tesco that l go to they are different, in Scotland most Tesco stores have some sort of international section that contains ambient foods from around the world. I often like to have a look through the isle to see what unusual items there is, and this store had nothing, for the size of the shop I would have expected something. A lot of cash machines in this area charge £1.75 for their use compared to Scotland, lucky this store has one that is free.

One of the most convenient places to grab a few bits for a last minute dinner in the city core. Not the full range that tesco sell and especially poor for frozen items. Unsurprisingly doesn’t stock much in the way of value ranges and is limited in both brands and ranges of goods. However, most popular items will be in stock. Ok selection of alcohol upstairs, with everything being normal tesco pricing. Ok selection of fresh fruit and veg etc. Ok for a stop in but wouldn’t do a full food shop here if you can help it.

This is the best supermarket available in the city core and being split across two levels it’s also the biggest. Offering everything to stock your apartment up for a weeks shop it also has a great selection of fresh fruit and veg(you should really go to the market on Saturday if you can however) as well as a variety of meats and a very well stocked selection of alcohol, especially wine… It’s also great to grab a work lunch or something for dinner in the evening. At the weekends I’m a big fan of their 2 for £10 deal which includes a main, side, desert and bottle of wine for £10. This offers is always available and clearly signposted in the fridge section. Plus it saves of cooking and ain’t nobody got time for that.
