Mailboxes Etc (UK)

I had to use a mailbox address for a while, because I didn’t have a permanent Birmingham address at the time. So, I used the services of this company. Situated in Colmore Row, right in the city centre they are in easy reach. I’d never used a mailbox/​PO Box address before, so didn’t know what to expect.
To be fair, these guts were helpful and provided me with full information on how it would all work. There are plenty of extra services with this company too which makes them more than just a mail box provider.
Due to their diversification into other service areas, they’ve managed to build a nice little reputation as a great organisation. I know in the past, friends have used them to print off and bind dissertations and print other items from there too. They also offer shipping service; which is helpful for those looking to post abroad.

I’ve used Mailboxes a couple of times before although not for what they are best known for; mailboxes. Yes they do take in your post of you if you want a PO Box number rather than using your home address. They are perfect for that as it’s in the centre of town whereas the equivalent service with Royal Mail would mean a drive out (or pay an even bigger fortune to have it delivered to your home). The service is good for business but also if you travel a lot and just want your post kept safely.
However, I have used Mailboxes for one of the ‘Etc.’ part of their services; Pack & Ship. They were fantastic as they sort out all the customs forms, advise on what you can pack and how best to and generally understand that whilst your personal belongings are valuable only to you, they are valuable.
On top of the mail box service, they also offer printing, copying and all sorts of facilities for the small business.

Not a massive amount to say about this place — they offer international parcel delivery, courier and postal services, printing, and an intriguing sounding ‘virtual office package’.
But — and this is a big BUT they also do dissertation binding and not many places offer that in Birmingham. Rather helpfully they will print it off for you too.
Based just on Colmore Row, you’ll find them sandwiched between Snappy Snaps and a posh bespoke shoe shop.
Prices aren’t massively cheap but staff are efficient and you get the impression they won’t print off your dissertation only to bind your index upside down (I used to work in a copy shop and yep, hands up I once did this) which is a bonus obviously.
